Sacrament of Reconciliation
Beaulieu is blessed to have Father Ambrose Chou, the assistant priest in the parish, as a member of the Catholic Life team. He comes into school on arranged dates at specific times to celebrate the sacrament with students and staff who have requested this.
Other Sacraments
The children of Year 4 are prepared for their First Holy Communion through a catechetical programme offered by Chaplain Nicole in Primary School, at the end of which they make their First Holy Communion at St Thomas’ Church, as members of the all-Island Parish.
In 2022, the parish priest and Catholic Dean of Jersey, Canon Dominic Golding, entrusted the Catholic schools of Jersey with the catechesis of those Catholic students who wish to be confirmed. The sacramental preparation programme for Confirmation is open to Catholics in Years 9 and 10, although students in Years 11, 12 and 13 who have not been confirmed and who wish to discuss the possibility of being confirmed are also invited to come and chat with the Chaplain.
In the academic year 2024-2025, Beaulieu was delighted to work with the Chaplaincy and students of De La Salle College in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated by Bishop Egan at Saint Thomas’ on Saturday, 28th June 2025
