Challenging Misconceptions. Sharing Our Reality.

As we mark 75 years on our current site, we have taken the opportunity to reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements, and consider how our school is perceived today.

Schools develop and change over time, but perceptions do not always evolve at the same pace. Throughout our history, we have encountered several assumptions and misconceptions about our school - some based on outdated information, others arising from hearsay rather than first-hand experience.

In this milestone year, we felt it was important to address these misconceptions openly and honestly. That is why we have produced Who We Are Today.

This publication has been created to provide a clear, accurate and contemporary picture of our school. It tackles some of the most common myths and misunderstandings, replacing them with facts, evidence and insight into life at our school today.

Our aim is not simply to challenge misconceptions, but to help prospective families, current parents, alumni and the wider community better understand who we are, what we value and the opportunities we provide for our students.
