Sport plays an integral role in Beaulieu’s daily life, and we aim to develop the students’ confidence and leadership by encouraging teamwork, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship. All pupils are given equal opportunity to learn and develop their skills and they are encouraged to take advantage of the extensive and valuable opportunities on offer.
We offer a range of sports, including badminton, football, rounders and trampolining, along with a comprehensive fixtures list of matches against other schools in hockey, netball, and athletics.
We also provide support to athletes who are involved in sports outside of school through our Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) to help them achieve their ambitions.
Our extensive sports facilities include a new, state-of-the-art sports hall, Beau Sports, which houses a modern sports hall, dance studio, fitness studio, classroom, and changing rooms. Our AstroTurf and netball courts are also used daily.
As a member of the Independent School Association (ISA), this also provides opportunities at all levels that many pupils can enjoy and benefit from. Beaulieu is entitled to access an extensive programme of Area and National events throughout the year that our students can participate in.
