Celebrating strong A Level and Level 3 results

Our Sixth Form students are celebrating today as they receive their A Level and Level 3 results, marking the culmination of years of hard work, determination and personal achievement. With strong results across a wide range of qualifications, our students can now look forward to taking their next steps towards their chosen universities, careers and future ambitions.

• 36% of A Level grades were awarded at A*–A

• 60% at A*–B.

• Students studying vocational Level 3 qualifications also achieved particularly strong results, with 90% of grades awarded at A*–A equivalent and 100% at A*–B equivalent.

• 98% of students were accepted to their top choices of university

Our students are progressing to a diverse range of courses including Medicine, Politics, Business, Natural Sciences, Fashion, Paramedic Science, Acting for Stage and Screen, Psychology, Forensic Science and Musical Theatre.

University destinations include King’s College London, Bristol, Durham, Buckingham, Liverpool and Edinburgh, alongside further study and training both on and off Island.

Our Headteacher, Matthew Burke said:

“We are incredibly proud of our students and what they have achieved. These are strong results across the breadth of qualifications we offer and reflect a great deal of hard work from our young people and staff.

“The breadth of courses our students are moving on to study is something we are particularly proud of. Our Sixth Form is about providing different pathways while maintaining high expectations for every student.”

The results reflect the hard work and commitment of our students, alongside the support of staff and families throughout their Sixth Form journey.

Mr Burke added:

“Our students deserve enormous credit, but I also want to thank our fantastic staff and our students’ families for the support, encouragement and care they have provided throughout their time at Beaulieu.”
