Achieves Remarkable Success at F1 Competition

Beaulieu leads at F1 in Schools STEM Competition

Beaulieu is thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our students at the recent F1 in Schools STEM competition, where our talented teams demonstrated exceptional skills in engineering, design, and teamwork.

The event, which challenges students to design, build, and race a miniature F1 car, saw our two teams, Phoenix Performance and McQueen, competing in a variety of exciting challenges, including a verbal presentation, a research mission, and thrilling track races. Throughout the day, both teams were a real credit to the school, showcasing their hard work and dedication.

Phoenix Performance stood out with impressive results:

  • First place in the Entry Class – This award was earned based on an overall score that included car scrutiny, an engineering portfolio, a verbal presentation, and their research mission. Phoenix Performance triumphed among 9 teams, earning top marks for its comprehensive approach and technical expertise.

  • The Research and Development Award – Acknowledging their innovative and well-researched approach to the design and engineering of their car.

In addition, McQueen team won the Future Star Award, recognising their exceptional potential and promising performance in this highly competitive event.

Both teams will receive their detailed scores and feedback later this week, which will help them refine their designs and strategies as they move forward into the Development Class next year.

A huge congratulations to all the girls involved:

  • Phoenix Performance: Eve, Florence, Abigail, and Sophie.

  • McQueen: Scarlett, Jess, Estelle, and Anna.

We are incredibly proud of their achievements in this exciting STEM event, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth in both engineering and innovation!
