Beaulieu School Feast Day 2025 – Sharing Love and Service Across Jersey

This year, Beaulieu School celebrated our annual Feast Day, honouring the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, in a way that truly reflected our founding charism, Toute de Charité – All about Love and Service - which shapes the whole ethos of the school.

The day began with our students rolling up their sleeves to prepare hampers for the community. These thoughtful gifts were a heartfelt way to show kindness and support and were distributed widely across Jersey, including to:

• Care homes such as Cheshire Homes and Pinewood Residential Home

• Local shelters and children’s charities, such as NSPCC

• Uniformed services, including the Police, Ambulance Service, and RNLI

• Church charities, such as The Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul

• Other organisations, including Jersey Hospice Care, Brighter Futures, and the Good Companions Club

It was wonderful to see our students not only preparing the hampers but also thinking about the people who would receive them – writing thoughtful messages, organising items with care, and embracing the spirit of giving.

The morning of service was followed by a special Feast Day Mass, where students took part in readings, music, and prayers, reflecting on our Catholic heritage and the values of faith, compassion, and community.

Our Headteacher, Matthew Burke, said, "Feast Day is one of the most special moments of our school year. It allows our students to put our founding charism, ‘Toute de Charité’ – all about love and service – into action. We are so proud of their generosity and the way they reached out to our community with kindness."

Feast Day 2025 was a reminder of the power of community, compassion, and service, and we are so proud of our students for bringing joy to so many people across the island.

At Beaulieu, we continue to encourage our students to live by the values instilled by the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, carrying love and service into everything they do.
