Beaulieu Triumphs at the Collas Crill MOOT Advocacy Final!

The Royal Court was bursting with Beaulieu brilliance last night as our talented students took centre stage in the final of the prestigious Collas Crill MOOT Advocacy Competition.

After successfully knocking out strong teams from De La Salle, Victoria College, Hautlieu and JCG, two Beaulieu teams went head-to-head in an exciting all-Beaulieu final:

Team Molly – Molly & Lily
Team Evie – Evie & Evie

Held in the historic surroundings of the Royal Court, the final followed full courtroom formalities, giving the students an authentic advocacy experience. Collas Crill were well represented, with Partner Nuno Santos-Costa and the firm’s coaching associates in attendance.

The finalists were assessed on a range of key advocacy skills, including court etiquette, clarity, persuasiveness, body language, and timekeeping. The competition was judged by Advocate Adam Clarke, supported by a panel that carefully considered each team’s performance.

After an impressive display of confidence and legal skill from both sides, Team Evie were crowned this year’s champions! Evie and Evie were presented with the Collas Crill Moot Shield, individual trophies, and an incredible opportunity of two weeks’ paid work experience at Collas Crill.

A huge congratulations to all four girls for their outstanding achievement. They represented Beaulieu with excellence, professionalism, and pride. What a fantastic success for our school!
