Outstanding Results at STEM Racing Regional Finals
Our students delivered an exceptional performance at the STEM Racing Regional Finals, achieving top honours across all three competition classes and demonstrating excellence in engineering, teamwork and communication.
Entry Class
The Entry Class team produced a clean sweep of awards, being named Regional Winners alongside receiving Best Engineered Car and Best Verbal Presentation. The judges recognised not only the performance of the car itself, but also the clarity of the team’s design process and their confident, professional communication.
Sponsored by Smart Scaffolding and Switch Digital.
Development Class
Competing in a highly competitive field, the Development Class team secured Third Place overall and was further honoured with the Judges’ Choice Award. This award is reserved for teams that impress the judging panel beyond the standard scoring criteria, reflecting the team’s innovation, resilience and strong problem-solving approach.
Sponsored by Integretas, RGA, Orchid and Switch Digital.
Professional Class
The Professional Class team achieved Second Place in one of the strongest brackets of the competition. Crucially, this result has earned them qualification for the National Final in March. In addition, the team won the Brand Identity Award, recognising a cohesive and distinctive team identity that stood out to the judges.
Sponsored by Cortida, Romerils Switch, Jersey Energy and Collins.
Across all classes, students demonstrated discipline, technical understanding and genuine engineering thinking. Their success reflects sustained effort, attention to detail and a willingness to engage with complex challenges.
We are also extremely grateful for the ongoing support and dedication of Digital Jersey Hub, whose contribution made this experience possible.
We could not be prouder of our students’ achievements. Their performance at the Regional Finals has set a high benchmark for future teams and provides strong momentum as we look ahead to the next stage of the competition.
